Remote Control LED Manipulation

The world of LED lights can now fit in the palm of your hand. Well, not exactly, but tablets and phones that do fit in the palm of your hand can now be used in a variety of ways to manipulate LED lights. The company MAZeT has produced a True Color sensor for the control and manipulation of colors produced by LED lights with a smartphone or tablet. The program has allowed the company to show off how well they can control lights and change them to different color palettes along the red, green, blue, or white spectrum.

It’s not the most brilliant and shocking thing to come with LED lights, as we have seen entire cities capable of connecting with their LED lights through computer interface. But the realization that the color the light produces and that it can be manipulated even with mobile devices like a phone with an internet connection is quite a powerful notion. This could mean we will start to see a number of other LED light remote control methods before long. For now, the largest implication this has is in the Christmas lights market, as who wouldn’t want to have remote control access to being able to manipulate the color of the lights they are using to decorate?

This could mean better methods of utilizing neon signs, simply with LED lights instead of neon. Either way, seeing just how much LED can integrate with computer technology and even the wireless internet certainly suggests we will be seeing plenty more LED light manipulation before long!
