The LED device, called BlueControl, uses blue LED lights which operate at such a frequency that they can help slow down the progression of cell division caused by psoriasis, which is the source of most the pain caused by the skin condition. Studies performed on the use of this device by patients found that this device was able to cut instances of symptoms in half without producing side effects.
Unfortunately, for Americans suffering from this issue, this product will only be available in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom in the near future. Patients will be required to obtain a prescription for the medication before purchasing the device.
